Position Responsibilities

As a Patient Financial Service Representative, you will work in our fast-paced call center, providing world-class service to our clients’ patients via inbound and outbound calls. This will involve working with patients to negotiate debt resolution and to establish payment arrangements that best suit their needs.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

  • Obtaining and updating patient demographics and financial information

  • Researching patients’ accounts for payments and credits

  • Using our state-of-the-art technology to toggle between 7-10 systems at any given time

  • Accepting monthly payments or setting up payment plans as needed

  • Negotiating effectively with patients to coordinate payment plans

  • Handling special requests and verifying quality care on each call as well as handling insurance and claim information

  • Adhering to state and federal collection laws

Position Requirements

RevSolve, Inc. is looking for an assertive, resourceful, and career-minded professional, with the ability to find creative options for patients to resolve their medical debts. This will require that you have excellent listening skills, an engaging personality, a knack for customer service, and strong negotiation skills. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to combine your competitive nature with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Prior collections or call center experience

  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Steady history of long-term tenure with previous employer

  • Proficiency and high degree of comfort with computer systems

  • Ability to enter notations into the computer while talking with the patient

  • Ability to easily adapt to new technology

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English, strongly preferred

  • Medical background, a plus
